Spring has arrived at The Towers and the gardens abound with wonderful flowers.  The grounds have never been more beautiful !!!

New colors of petunias, peach geraniums, verbenas in white, red, purple and pink,

dianthus,sweet alyssum,gazanias,coleus,

impatiens,caladiums, and begonias.

And of course... the roses...

The knockout roses around the fountain are just spectacular, and here and there are climbing roses and banks roses.   The lawns and trees have that new spring green.  The fountain has been repainted, and our Sculpture maintenance man from Santa Fe, New Mexico has redone the patina on all the bronze sculptures.  We are ready for visitors !!!!!

Inside we have reset displays of our favorite collections and added new (old) pieces. Recent acquisitions include many exquisite colored crystal inkwells, a rare Automaton Bird Box, a Palais Royal miniature Carriage drawn by 7 horses, and 2 tables by John Henry Belter !!!

Tours at The Towers are special and unique and garner rave reviews. Given either by owner Ginger Hyland or by manager and designer J. Wesley Forde, tours are an hour to an hour and half long. The collections are many and varied including period furniture by John Henry Belter, Alexander Roux, J. and J. Meeks and Prudent Mallard. Antique laces, beaded purses, crowns and tiaras, Moser glass, Vaseline glass, inkwells, gentlemen's watch fobs and unusual objects used in everyday Victorian life are among the things shown. Also, a wonderful collection of props and costumes from Andrew Lloyd Webger's 2004 movie Phantom of the Opera are on display.

Most of the year, tours are by appointment. During the Christmas, Easter and The Pilgrimage season, some days will have set hours. At Christmas, The Towers puts on a Jeweled Christmas tour featuring thousands of pieces of vintage costume jewelry on every tree, table and mantelpiece. The Towers boast having over 109 Christmas trees in 2009.....Truly a sight to behold, call for a tour time.

Tours are $15.00 per person - group rates for 20 or more are $12.00 per person.
